I know (actually, I think) you feel like I have a problem with young mothers. I don't. I know that there are young women out there who can be just as good, and even better in some cases, a mother as someone in their late 20's/30's. I'm sure you are a terrific mother. I also understand being a young wife married to a military man. It's not easy. My dh took some time to grow up, too. We've been married since we were 18 (13 years now) so I know what it's like. If I have any advice to share it would be, Don't let anyone's opinions make you feel like you have to justify your life. You have to make sure your children are happy, that you are happy, and that your dh is happy. That's all that matters. No one really knows each other on these boards. No one really knows each other's lives on these boards. I'll even step up to say that as a military wife, your life is very different from the other people on the boards and they won't ever be able to understand that. Just be proud of who you are, be proud of your family. If you feel like people look down on you for being a young wife/mother, tell them where they can go.
