^Bloody Hollow^
Wandering through the territory, it opens up into a large valley, slightly singed from fiery blasts coming from the cliffs. A streamlet runs through the territory, dark waters mimicking that of the River Styx. Enough foliage grows to sustain life within it, despite the constant darkness that swirls overhead. The distant figure of Pirate's Treasure is clear cut even in the shadows. Her eyes watch the herd, protective yet mysterious. She loved none; neither did she find favor with any stallion. She was a cold-hearted Queen; her justice was brutal but fair. Red, gold and black entwined within her silken mane, her elegant form sinewy and powerful. The true daughter of the dragon.

*There were eyes upon the territory, ripping its every corner into more shreds of her sweet darkness. Orbs screamed bloody murder, their lethal radiance scanning over the cursed terra. Nostrils flared, soaking in the scents that strayed her way and registering them all seperately.*

*Might churned fluidly under her tight pelt, whatever light surrounding constantly slipping off her well-structured curves. Plumage battled the skies, a silken flag of the bruja, black-a-vide. Noggin's dagger stood post, instruments of flight docile in reference to her potent strides.*

Brute scanned the terra dropping away below him once more for Pirate's Treasure.His flaming occules swept over the landforms easily,soaking in all the sights,the memory fresh in his mind once more as he ceased the rare flapping of his owl-like wings completely,allowing himself to drift to the earth slowly.He looked around,seeing the Thicket,gave a snort of disgust for his still lingering thoughts about his last mate,Akita.She was forever banned from his Cliffs.If she ever dared to make an entrance in his terra,he would fight with her to her death.Tossing his giant ebony dial,locks flying in all directions,bouncing off of his deadly raven dagger.Rearing to full height and pawing the air menacingly around him,he let out a heart-piercing whistle and spoke.Pirate's Treasure!You have called me here for the war that is growing at the very moment.What is the current status,and where,if not this very hollow,are the army meeting?He landed suddenly with a loud thump on the earth,waiting for his answer.He spotted Lunar Eclipse and neighed to her,a mare from his herd.

EVERY HORSE THAT PLANS TO FIGHT... -- Exist//Lain, 08:18:50 07/08/03 Tue
I (Exist and I) are going to teach you all how to actually fight. This is Pirate's Treasure included if you feel like it. Now, Exist does spit out some pretty nasty words about how you all can't fight but ultimately it is well founded. I played cascade before I ever went to an advanced rp and I was totally lost. So I'll show you all what I've learned. If you want help feel free to reply to this message with comments//requests.

This was Exist's first fight at Eclypse. She is playing against Shaan and this is the first move.

-Exist, Move 1-
Exist on the battle field was a world away from the Exist you saw in her home of Syric Hollow. In the Hollow you could hardly perturb the phlegmatic nature of this obsidian washed femme, but in the ring she unleashed her rage that she had pent up inside her, like a volcano that had lain dormant for so long against the thrash of the elements and finally erupted. Yes and the second her titanium nail touched that blood washed surface she was transformed. A different Exist for a different time and now she was savage rage venom and a bloodthirsty thing in it�s purest form. The epitome of hatred. She was like an adrenaline junky, hooked on the taste of blood, the crash of breaking bone, the military intellect used. It was all part of a huge and repulsive game and Exist loved every minute of it. So bring on the battle, the blood lust, the victory or loss, she would take it in an even stride.

She entered this lush dome of the pugnacious aura, it was her home away from home, it was her calling. She was menacing in presence and her form hulked in the shadows, fading in and out of perception. Exist knew how to hide and the shadows were her allies, and now in the fading twilight her eye sight grew better, as it did with all of her species, she could make out the clear, smaller form of Shaan. She was downwind from him and she caught his distinct scent on the wind and threw it into a drawer with �Shaan� on the handle. She didn�t want to remember his name, she wouldn�t even remember the fight. Stallions may be stronger but he would be no match for a 17.2 Friesian. Every way you looked at her she was built strong, she was conditioned very well from her past battles and her strong muscles rippled menacingly beneath a raven painted pelt. Her hooves clashed with the ground on every stride, they were huge, the size of a saucer and they were deadly and vicious. Stand there and she�ll tear you to pieces. You ready for this Shaan? Well then, let�s do it.

As she slunk through the shadows, downwind of Shaan, she knew there would be no way he could see her, not by scent, not by hearing and not by sight. She waited just a moment, her muscles tense and quivering, surveying the distance between them, he was about a stride away, her crania was pointed at his hindquarters. She was at a 45 degree angle from his tail and she sprung stealthily and silently, the black angel of death. Her right fore hoof was aimed for his Illium which is the bone that connects to the hip joint to create the point of the hip. She knew that he couldn�t cow kick at this angle since she struck close to his leg. Her left hoof was aimed a little to the left and lower at his hip joint. Let me connect with your hip joint and your back left hind leg will be useless for the battle and will only get worse because with hooves like mine, I�ll shatter it. Let me hit your Illium and I will break it, causing immense pain when you move that hind leg since you�ll be half way to a broken hip but not there yet. Not to mention rule out running, raised attacks and pivoting. Now, my dear Shaan, move yourself forwards and I will hit the last protruding bone that makes up your hip joint. I will also tear your last muscle on your hindquarters which will shred one of the support threads that is one of the main muscles for that leg. By hitting your last hip bone I will cause a sharp pain in your hindquarters, causing white hot jolts of pain when you move your poor left hind fulcrum. That�s gotta hurt.

Move backwards and I will hit your completely decimate two or three of your ribs. Not only are they the easiest bones to break in the equine anatomy but I have plenty of momentum. They are the cage of bone that encompasses your internal organs, but don�t worry I won�t hurt them with this attack. But don�t forget that lying inches to the left of your ribs is your spinal column which I could hit. If I connect I will pinch at least one nerve, causing excruciating pain and temporary paralyzation which will make it a hell of a lot harder to continue fighting Exist, not to mention winning.

Now Shaan, try to sidestep, as most do, and you�ll find that it isn�t as easy as you think. Even if you do have enough time to execute this evasion (which you don�t) my aim would only be lowered on your body and I�d connect with the essential bone that is the beginning of your leg, the femur. Exist would feel a jolt of shock from fracturing or breaking your bone. The aftermath of breaking any bone was jarring but she was used to it by now and had come to love that feeling of bracing for a impingement and then it coming and being more than she�d expected. This would again, render the leg useless and painful for the rest of the battle. Take your time, think about it and find a way out, you�re going to need it.

Try to find a way out but I�m already off.

Now, Exist heaves off of Shaan, veins coursing with that promised rush of adrenaline. Her occuli blazed with a fire that she loved so much. Those blue flames dancing in her body and soul, but then again those crashing waves that she loved even more. She had given her heart and soul to that wave and she knew that some day it would rise to consume the world and show it what it was really made of. The wave, yes, the day would come to pass and this appetent femme would be there to greet it.

She could only come off him about two feet and her eyes flickered in deep concentration as precious seconds ticked by and she surveyed the situation and launched into another pre-planned attack. She had practiced these attacks on other horses before, they were her favorite, but the best was still yet to come, you know she always saved the best for last. She rose swiftly, knowing that he would probably have turned to face her, trying to rear and counter her attack as most horses did, since almost 90% of battles were spent rearing. She was at a ninety degree angle, the highest that was possible for an equine of her size, actually for an equine in general. He would be under her, taking more time to rise if she had calculated correctly. She came down on him now, known that he would either have risen in the air or still be upon the ground. If he was in the air she�d break his Radius bone with her left fulcrum which was equivalent to breaking a human�s thigh bone, making the top half of his leg and again, causing great pain. Unless he didn�t tuck his neck in, she would hit his nasal bone, making it very hard to breathe and ripping the stretchy material of veins and starting the flow of blood. Her right fulcrum would hit his knee joint, since the left leg was usually lower when a horse rose to battle the malicious welkin above, and it would make putting any sort of weight on that piston a tormenting matter. Not to mention hindering his cadence of any kind since the knee was forced to bend and then accept the shock of colliding roughly with the unforgiving, unbending terra firma.

Now, if he was still on the ground he had undoubtedly moved and since she had looked on him and watched where had moved she was now barreling down upon him with her brute force and gravity on her side. Her right hoof was intended for his left shoulder, there upon where she could break his scapula, the top bone in his shoulder that connected with the Humerus to form the shoulder joint. This would render that shoulder useless for the rest of the battle and moving it terribly painful. Her left hoof was aimed for his ribs, it�s design to shatter some fully and leave bits of bone in vital eternal organs that lay in the basket of marrow and calcium. If Shaan moved into her she would only have a stronger and more precise attack, that wouldn�t be the best thing to do now would it? If he moved away from her she would connect with his lower ribs and elbow joint. Oh that would hurt like you wouldn�t believe, it would render that leg useless, disabling you from attacking with that leg while rearing and forget about attacking and cantering on the left lead, you�ll be down and out before you know it. Rise and you�ll realize you have no time, the same thing with rolling which is unnatural for horses and seldom used.

And so, she thinks as she pulls away from Shaan, the deadly tango of battle begins. Now she cantered away about two strides, staying close to her adversary, still vigorous and preppy as when she had first set hoof here. Though she was a little shaky from the gallons of internal steroids that are flowing throughout her system. And then again she loved it, the power, the freedom of battle. Her muscles twitched in preparation for an attack, he couldn�t surprise her now the same way she had him, she was watching him, prepared and ready. The swarthy hatred of the noctum closed in around them, the sun retreating, ashamed and wounded behind jagged frowning cliffs that lined the horizon. It was the twilight zone and it was passing. Soon the moon would enter to observe their battle of blood shed and abhorrence not of each other, but of a distance faceless foe that roamed in the darkness. You never see the adversaries ooids when you fight them, only a shapeless persona that you are fighting, that Exist is fighting. It is only when you finally find that foe, that practically unidentifiable fiend, that you may stop your conquest for pain.

The wind buffeted the moors, whistling eerily among the gusty trees. The sky was a torrent of darkness, yes, it fit very well, and tonight was the night the highway man would come riding to his doom in the frosty silence. The moon was a ghosty gallon tossed upon the cloudy seas, the loam was a ancient table, anxious in the pale light, and the highway man came riding-riding-riding, to his own gory doom. Now that call of challenge shattered the moonlight, the notes rang in the moonlight, shattered the silence in the moonlight and warned those who came to die.

READ IT ALL OR YOU WILL LEARN NOTHING. Its not even that long, only like 1800 words I think. Exist's death was 2000+ so read it and tell me something.

Demonic activities of the terra are met by a silence so deep, one could not overlook the absence of life over the Southern ridge. Above the knarled trees a twisted tower of smoke rises, the flicker of a powerful flame seen occasionally by those who wished to look. The wind rises slowly, carrying the stench of burning wood and charring flesh. Even as you catch the putrid stench, see the mighty blaze, and feel the blast of heat connect with your face, a strange feeling of forboding catches in your chest. The flames grow taller, the heat hotter, the musk stronger, and the power greater. Before too long the flames will touch the very ground on which you stand. The question remains in the minds of those who were now forced to watch.
