Subject: 1972 M32 Cabin Sole Wood Type

Hi. I’m a recent new owner of an M32, trying to determine what wood type the cabin sold is. It looks like mahogany. Does anyone know what the original sole is constructed of? And if a mahogany, does anyone leave unvarnished? I’d like to just oil but don’t want to allow to rot. Thanks!!

Evangeline, most likely it is Teak. I just sanded and vanished a few coats to keep it clean, from absorbing oils, stains or even paint.
