 I watched this video a week or two ago, when it showed up on the "Three Stars" Facebook group - a fascinating look at an Australian chap's very expensive, over-the-top vintage gear collection; still, as has been mentioned here, the guitar couldn't have been Buddy's for oh-so-many reasons.

A picture posted on the same Facebook group suggested that the '55's bakelite pickup covers weren't cracked at all; rather, Buddy drew music notes on the pickup covers, and they just appeared to be cracked in photos. Has anyone here heard of this? It would be difficult to verify save for some highly detailed photos. Buddy's original '55 Strat is probably long gone...possibly burned by Jimi Hendrix or some such rock-and-roll related fate.
