 I have seen the article online about Universal claiming that the Holly tapes were lost in their California fire.

At the same time, there is a youtube video of a tour of their vault and some of the tapes are pictured. it could be that only a set of safety backups was lost or maybe that is what they have. Either way they are still pumping out new releases touting that the original masters are used so it is questionable what was really in the fire.
