Things that could help would be acknowledging the existence of Norman Petty, and recording in Clovis, NM (and not NYC)... The fact that his parents were encouraging of his choice to go into music, not against it as that other film portrays it. Have Jerry Allison and Joe B. Mauldin's names right this time (No "Jesse" and "Ray Bob"), and throwing Niki Sullivan in there wouldn't hurt either.

That's just a few things off the top of my head... Oh yeah, better production values would help, and getting someone closer to Buddy's age would help: We don't need a 33 year old, who *looked* 33 portraying someone who's supposed to be 20 to 22...
