 I've said it before, but Dion really only started doubling down on this after Waylon died.

His story makes no sense at all. He says that the plane was for the "headliners," but it was Buddy -- the actual headliner -- who booked it. Why wouldn't Buddy take his band on the plane?

As a musician myself, and one who has toured (in a very limited capacity, to be fair), you look after your bandmates first and foremost. I have no doubt that Buddy's original intention was for Tommy and Waylon to be on the plane with him.

For Dion to be spouting this nonsense now that nobody who was there can refute it is just pathetic, IMO.
