A couple of years ago, I was passing the Chippenham/Bath area and called off at the crash site memorial, and also St Martin's Hospital in Bath, where there's a memorial stone where Eddie passed away. I still can't believe that taxi driver managed to crash like he did. Having been to the spot and seen the road and distances involved, he really must have been going far too fast.

I can't get Eddie off my mind of late. I keep playing his songs on guitar, and love doing his opening to 'What'd I Say'. I'm getting the itch to get out to L.A. on a long trip (from NW England) in the near future. Hope I make it one day, to Eddie's grave at Forest Lawn, Cypress.

I agree fully, Eddie was the last Rock N Roller. After what happened to Buddy and the fellas, he was the last flickering flame of Rock N Roll. Outstanding guitarist and performer, and what a great looking guy. Only 21 when he died...wow...thats just unbelievable. What a talent we lost.
