I certainly appreciate your passion regarding this very low fi recording. You make a good argument for it's authenticity.

If I recall one serious problem re: the veracity of this
interesting bit of audio, it is that the name of the program it was recorded for seems to have no history in the BBC archives, and none of our U.K. Holly friends could recall any such show.

Perhaps that big sticking point has been solved since the last time this item was discussed.

I think it's interesting enough to have a serious Holly fan and current BBC host do an even deeper dive, perhaps with the help of some U.K. radio historians, and if there is a Holly fan at Scotland Yard, a forensic voice analysis would be great. All of this would make for an interesting
documentary along the lines of the Brit show "fake or fortune?".

My own opinion is that the recording is a very clever fake.

I could only be convinced otherwise if documentation of the original broadcast or "call sheet" were to be found in a genuine archive, or if still living family members of the interviewer could be found and could provide answers to a lot of questions.
