 Hi all

At the time that Mr. Griggs did his excellent and thorough research, the same vehicle was scheduled to be auctioned
by Barrett-Jackson. The evidence found was sufficient to have the vehicle withdrawn from the auction, as the owner refused to offer sufficient proof of the Holly ownership claims.
That alone should be enough for this car to NO LONGER
be referred to as the "Buddy Holly Impala".
No self respecting auction house should touch this car unless that description is dropped.
The seller should simply describe it as one of the best surviving examples of the make and model once owned by Buddy.
There is FAR too much lying and deception in our current society, and it makes me sick that Buddy's name is being used in such a dishonest way.
