 The poster who sent me the original message might not realize that I can see the IP addresses of every post. He/She posted as "Mike" on this post but has used other names.

The purpose of this board has always been about celebrating the music of the 1950's era and the careers of those who made the music. Understandably, there is a heavy emphasis to Buddy Holly & The Crickets. The board is unapologetically, a moderated board with no plans to change. There's plenty of evidence showing the unmoderated boards will often go off the rails and out of business.

Personally speaking, I don't really understand the need to post using a fake name or using something that is not a name. But then again, it shouldn't make sense to anyone who is a mature adult. Just my opinion, of course.
