Graham,

In regard to your post where you stated the following:

"How unfortunate that we have the same old same old from Mike.

I am guilty to have had the same biased opinion before meeting Buddy's Mom in Lubbock many years ago. She was fast to shut me down and explained that L.O. and herself were at the Studio watching Buddy and Norman work on words and melodies together. That was good enough for me, although I have come to realize over the decades and various waves of Holly fans that come and go that there could never be any proof enough to convince otherwise, and the blinders continue to stay on.

Unless of course that you were there and witness to otherwise Mike. If so, please fill us in."

I'm not being confrontational, but I have to say I resent your comments directed at me and here's why- You make it sound like I am always going on about Norman putting his names on songs he had nothing to do with or something. To the best of my recollection, the post you replied to was the first time I ever said such a thing.

It's a known fact that Norman did indeed put his name on songs he didn't write or have a part in writing: How did "That'll Be The Day" or "Not Fade Away" written by Holly & Allison suddenly get Norman's name added to them? How about Sonny West & Bill Tilghman with "Oh Boy!" and "Rave On"? To act like he never did such a thing is burying your head in the sand.

I don't doubt that Mrs. Holley told you that she did indeed see Buddy writing with Norman. But I don't like your comment basically saying "If you have evidence to prove otherwise, please fill us in", especially when you yourself said you were guilty of saying what I said until you heard what Mrs. Holley told you, or did you mean something else when you said 'I am guilty to have had the same biased opinion before meeting Buddy's Mom in Lubbock many years ago.'?

It's fine that you corrected me with what you heard from Buddy's mom, but to act like I am saying something you yourself said in the past is really weird.
