More sad news today...

Alan Clark passed away yesterday.

Alan was a friend to many of the fans on Rockin50s. Alan was a musician and played the Surf Ballroom many times. He also authored booklets on Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens among others. Alan had a particular affinity for Eddie Cochran and loved playing his music. He also loved Sonic Drive-In.

Alan loved having a good time and seemed to always be laughing about something. I don't think I ever met anyone who enjoyed playing music or being around musicians more than Alan did. He will be missed.

Rave On, Alan. We will miss you.

Randy Steele
