I was lucky enough to see him live on stage on 2 occasions.
The first time was in Bedford in late 1962 on the Bobby Vee/Crickets tour

I have a complete list of all the songs that the singers performed.
If anyone is interested in I will be happy to share them. Apart from his own set he also sung 2 songs with the Crickets. He told us who his favourite singer was (apart from Buddy, of course)

The other time I saw him was at Wilton Hall, Bletchley in 1963.
The only memory is that he started singing Peggy Sue in the wrong key and had to re-start it !

A very talented man who will be sadly missed
