The Drifters as then constituted were Ian Samwell-Smith and Terry Smart, with Cliff also chipping in on guitar. Samwell Smith wrote Move It and was given permission by Paramor to record it as the B side of a single. On the session (and several sessions afterwards, session guitarist Ernie Shear played lead guitar and Frank Clarke played bass.
As I understand it, the Shadows first recorded notes were Jet Harris' bass intro to "Livin' Doll".
