 Norvajak Music posted one of the Big Beats songs this week. This was the story apparently:

"Originally titled "Trini's Touch", this instrumental written by Big Beats' sax player Larry Randall, was the first recording Trini Lopez appeared on.

Columbia head Mitch Miller suggested they change the title and shop the song to Dick Clark to consider for a new theme to his American Bandstand show. Trini thought it was a racial issue & departed to California to go solo; the Big Beats continued on without him."
