 Jackie Dennis sadly passed away on 28 September
He had a brief career as a pop singerfrom 1958 and had a top 4 U K hit with a cover of Lah De Dah. A couple of smaller hits followed but perhaps he is best known for being invited to appear on the Perry Como show and was described as Britains (he was Scottish) Ricky Nelson !! He apoeared wearing a kilt.
He retired from the business in 1970 when, for 20 years,he worked in a care home in Edinburgh, He often said this was the happiest time of his life.
He was married for 30 years.
Although largely forgotten he will be missed by many.
