 There was a similar story in one of the books I think when I believe it was George Jones who was playing a bill with he Crickets, and they were poking fun a George with his slow C&W style,...then George proceeded to play a few Rockabilly and R&R numbers to a better standard than the Crickets!..love the story...assuming it was true!
