G'morning all y'all!
Noel, the puppy ate your nativity? Are you sure? Did you SEE him do it? Where was the pool boy?
Sounds like Christmas at my house actually. I was in doing dishes last night, heard a crash...and my beautiful tree was lying on the floor. The presents I had under there were sopping wet and some of my favorite decorations broken. But I just said, "Oh well." and picked it up, leaned it against the wall. Opened and dried the presents, rewrapped them and set the decorations to the side until this weekend when I will try and fix the tree.
Dang. As Gilda would say, "It's always something."
Have a great Thursday everyone!

Good Morning Camp-Perry!
Thanks Tammy! Had to go to bed early to be up by 5:30 today for work!
Weather in the high 30's again with plenty of sunshine. Don't know if the snow is still out there cuz it's bitch black outside! LOL
Off to work, so everyone have a great Thursday, and
Peace, Love, and Perry!

Fact of the Day...There is enought concrete in the Hoover Dam to pave a two lane highway from San Francisco to New York!

He's a she and yes, I'm sure she is the culprit.

Tammy, you are a saint. If I found my tree on it's side, ornaments broken, presents wet, Screaming Banshee Noel would have exploded. Too much work and time.

Lousy day yesterday, meetings the whole day, didn't get a thing done. We're having a minor change over in our system January 1 and the "minor" means extra work from now until then. Even have to come in on vacation week for a class. Can't win.

It's lovely here today, and got to see Barry help light Rockefeller Center's Christmas Tree last night, so all is well this morning!

Hugs!
Good day!

Sydney strikes again! I think she missed her calling, she should have been born a goat.

Tammy - how did the tree topple and why was everything sopping wet? Do you hang buckets of water from the branches? Very novel way of decorating for the season, I must say!

Good morning everyone!

LOL Noel!

I haven't begun to decorate my apt. yet. The mountain house is done, though. And that's what counts...even though I don't get to enjoy it much.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Memphis to get Christmassy with the girlies. Their dance group in is the Collierville Christmas parade and Kim and the girls are riding on a float. I'm going to be standing idly by with one the those none stop talking neighbors (would it be rude to wear my earphones?) and freeze my butt off till the cuties go by!
Saturday we will shop for the tree and decorate. Kim said next year they will be buying an artificial prelit tree.....I said, "Baa Humbug"! Might as well just pull down a window shade that's all decorated!! Sunday will be spent baking and decorating Christmas cookies and it's always a hoot to see that more decorations get eaten than placed on cookies. LOVE THE MESS!!! Then Monday, Kim and I will go shopping, sans cutie pies!

All this depends on if I can get my car out of the snow! Actually, I've already be out scooting around using my 4WD for the first time! What a blast!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Sainte McKee...that be me! *L* Actually Noel...it's been such a lousy couple of months that I think I've just given up *L* Normally I am screaming and crying and yelling...but just didn't have the heart anymore last night. *LOL*
Jan...do you have a problem with buckets of water hanging from the branches? How do you decorate over there???? Ha! No, I have a rather large stand that holds a lot of water and is supposed to to support my tree and make it stand up better. Go figure, eh? I don't know how it fell. *sniff* I guess I didn't do as good of a job as I thought putting it in the stand!
On to another day....

Ahhh.. now you know why I went to a fake tree! Putting the live tree up was always a great excuse for the whole family to get into a fight. "It's not straight." "Yes it is!" on and on...Then trying to water them with gifts underneath. Finally cut a piece of old garden hose and used it to pour water into the bottom. Then there's the allergies...

Yes, those were the days.
