In reply to: Joanne 's message, "Good Morning Saturday!" on 23:39:40 11/29/02 Fri

Good morning everyone! It's a grey day here in the UK, one of those days where it might not get fully light all day.

I am trying to do as much shopping as I can online rather than mingle with the crowds in the High Street. I already have some things and I'm hoping to conclude the major shopping effort this weekend. Then, when we have our proper Message Board back, I won't be distracted by retail opportunities!

Time to trim my Christmas tree tomorrow, and make the place look festive for the season. I think a little tinsel applied to the PC at a rakish angle should provide the final, telling touch!

Have a great day!

>Morning all.

Well I'm up, drinking my coffee and getting ready to have some Sarah Lee coffee cake (family tradition). It's about time to get the turkey into the oven. It snowing slightly and hope it stays that way so it doesn't frighten any of my relatives from coming. I've got a 20 lb bird to eat so someone better show up. Got all my Christmas decorating done finally except the lights on the fence. That can wait until later. Looks very nice.

Well better get moving. Wanted to stop in and say hi. I'll talk more probably tomorrow or Monday.

Hugs and Kisses!!

Gracie =-)

Well, I'm confused. You're cooking your turkey today gracice????
Jan, the tinsel at a rakish angle on the PC will be lovely and festive, I am sure! *L* What a great idea! Who needs a tree?!
Joanne, no one at the mall???!
I have just been doing the cleaning and the laundry. Nothing festive. And I am getting into that "Holiday Funk" thing, so who knows when or if a tree will appear in my house? *L*
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!

Good morning!! There's probably no one at the malls because they are all recovering from yesterday morning! LOL Yes I was among the totally insane people to get up at 3 in the morning just to go to the store, have everyone run you over and fight just because they want a $5 dollar sandwhich maker or coffee pot! LOL Crazy people! If you've never done the "early bird" shopping thing...don't. It's not worth all the trouble. I'm still recovering from the nightmare! LOL

Have a wonderful day all!!!
