Midnight pup lay down 'pon the earth. Watching the other wolves. His expression blank, his eyes held all the expression. Hidden behind a mask of boredom he hated almost all the wolves here. He hated most wolves he knew. His life had never been good, and Enchancee may have saved his life. But that mattered little now, if they wanted him here he would stay. But give them a few days and he'd be forgotten again. He sighed, it was too hard, too complicated for him to work out. And why should he, a pup, attempt to understand everything that had happened? Why should one such as himself continue to live when none loved nor cared for him?
