He stood completely still for her first few moments after her speech, etched into time, his eyes almost eroding like the majestic stone crevaces that could be seen in the distance against a canvas of blood. Then, quite sporadically, he parted his lips and erupted a shocking, rolling laugh resembling the rumbling of thunderclouds, a crackling blasphemy in itself. His head cocked back, he returned his gaze to her, and he studied her lightly with those endless, unreflecting eyes.

"You are wise beyond your years."

He stated simply, with a bit of vigor behind his articulation, compared to the monotonous drawl of a telephone operator which casually drones past his lips. Flicking back first his ears, then his gaze, he watched the simpering wolf put on her performance in the muddled crowd around her, and decided that it was now Enchancee which demanded his more emminent attention.

"I must deal with the drama queen."

He stated simply; a nose directed at Enchancee, with his returned, ever-so-casual reply.

"Join me if you wish."
