 The wolf remained perched on the beasts head and gripped tightly, awaiting SOMETHING to happen. The beasts gait seemed to be dragging forever; every step he took seemed to take longer, and longer, and Band seemed to be moving farther away. The wait was agonizing; and he hoped for the best.
