The beast, foaming at the mouth, lunged at Band, then seemed to twist in mid air. He had seen the other white one enter the clearing, and with dislike he snarled vulgarly. In a beastly charge he lunged toward Enchancee, throwing Khastin off his head with a mighy thwack of his own paw on his skull. No bolds barred now; it was Him and Enchancee alone.
