Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Atticus Cain and I am an independent filmmaker/actor in Pittsburgh.
Please find attached a script of a short film entitled:
"Opposition" written by Atticus Cain and Elwin Green.

Given the very public, very vocal and energetic effort to motivate people to register and vote last year and the need to do the same in the future, I hope that you would be willing to support this project. No one has ever made a movie centered around the idea of people voting and what one vote might ultimately mean. This is our chance to tell a good story that will change minds at the same time it entertains.

Along with the obvious, direct translation to that of the minority
voter here in the U.S.- it's not difficult to see the reach beyond our
national borders. This is an opportunity to put the filmmaking community in Pittsburgh back on a national stage because of the buzz and media attention a project like this can generate.

Specifically, we are looking for the following

1. Financing- although we are in the process of fundraising now, we need as much help as we can muster. This is a very important project, and we need not only your support but that of anyone else you might know that is interested in motivating potential voters to becoming actual ones.

2. Support- in whatever form that could be (joint releases,
comments on final cut, etc...)
