Hi,

I'm a 45 year old who just got braces today, top & bottom, except no brackets on the lower front 4.
Because I have a severe (90 %) deep bite, my top teeth hit the lower brackets & none of my molars touched!
So my orthodontist applied bumps of composite on 2 of lower molars (one on each side).

Now the only place that touches is on those 2 bumps.

I have no idea how I'm going to chew for the next several months!
Has anyone had this deep bite problem & was it treated this way?

I feel like I'll be eating baby food forever!
