I had 4 bicuspids pulled before I got my braces, and I had a shot that put me out for a short time.

All I remember was talking to the dentist, and then having the nurse telling me to wake up.

No side effects afterwards. The whole procedure was a "piece of cake".

When I was younger, I had a tooth pulled with a local, and it wasn't bad either. I just remember feeling some tension and it was over.

I don't know if I would have choosen one method over the other, but I really liked to be put to sleep, because I didn't have to think about what was going on.
