Hello eveyone!

Addaak manen. I have to get these all done tapno up to date-n next time. Ikarkarigatak latta ti agis-storya. Kalkalpasko iti maysa nga ar-aramidek isu nga sangoek datoyen before I start on another one. There seems to be no end to paper work!

Here’s to confirm Atilinda’s announcement about the postponement of the Dugong CYF Foundation First General Assembly to a later date.

Saan nga mabalin diay Ramos Farm because there's a one week group activity that also covers our 25-26 dates. Saan mi gayam nga na confirm. We had been missing Manang Puring (a doting grandma, agragadi between San Nicolas and Manila) in our last few meetings. We could not think of an alternate venue that is as symbolic (idiay ti immun-una nga Dugong CYF meeting), and as conducive to a family camp cum business meeting (children doing their own thing while the parents talk "serious things") as the Ramos Farm. Manong Vic, according to Annie suggested the Ramos campsite. Mabalin koma ngem saan met nga mapakpakadaan ti napigsa nga tudo ket awan pay met ti sigurado nga mapaglinongan. Nagbabassit, saan nga warerproof ken kurang pay ti tents tayo, No adda ububbing nga umay, kakaasida. So we thought of moving the dates to first week of November. That met some objections (particularly expressed by Jojo G.). After the All Saint’s Day, busy na ang mga tao preparing for the Christmas Church affairs. Apigud nga agpayso. It’s our very first General Assembly and of course, we would like to have a big group. I also welcomed a postponement tapno saan nga isingsingit laeng iti adu pay nga trabaho before the year ends.

And so, through our text brigade we informed mga kadugo that we will have the assembly next year. Delbert, sorry, di mo naawat ti announcement. We will push through though with an October 25 meeting at the Tabita Hideaway to decide on the new dates and other related matters. It could be our last meeting for the year since we have decided not to have any activity that coincides with CLCYF traditional dates like Dec. 26-30. Gulpienmi metten dagiti candles ni Jess for Church altar needs and Christmas…and for anya-anya man nga rason. Kuna ni Bibsy, nangitugot idi Sunday idiay San Nicolas Church. "Mayat met laeng?" dinamag ko. "Mayat met, manang", sungbat ni Bibsy. They better be!!!

We (Annie, Jess, Sam Q. and I) met last Sept. 22 in Tayug (office of Annie). Emy joined us later; saanmi naurayen ni Bibsy who was to come from Urdaneta for a pre-natal check-up! We reviewed the final project study for the candle making. Kasla piman nag defend iti thesis ni Jess. Pilot laeng pay daytoy November and December tapno simple ti operations. We’ll see how it goes, then we can adopt it as a Dugong CYF full blown project.

BTW, adu kami met nga nakapan iti wake daydi Pastor Mones. Saanak manen nga nakasambot iti Dugong CYF night ta pinalpas ko pay ti final liturgy (déjà vu!). Dakami manen kada Peps ken Atilinda (and Annie) ti nabati iti last night. Pastor Fred also came. He looked okay although he just recently had a ‘head operation’ to remove some fluid. There were several Villasis CYF’ers circa 60s-70s who were there and so it was ‘down memory lane’ time, too.

Saan ko ammo no kasano ti agpost iti form (is it possible, Boy T.?) isu nga information requirements laeng daytoy. No saanyo kayat a maipblaak ditoy boardroom, please send personal data to my e-mail address (aie2000_ph@yahoo.com) and I will print them out for our official Foundation records. Twenty eight (28) items laeng daytoy, please find time to respond.
