I gained a pound or two after Summer Camp. The cook must be awarded for a "job well done". Next year 'will cut it down to 2 meal per day of fish and veggies only. And it will be rationed. No more buffet with "all you can eat mentality".
The cottages were improved. Shower stall were expanded so are the commode. Hot water is abundant and no time limit. Quarters not required either.
The trip to and from the camp was leisurely and fun. No traffic, no congestion...literally we own Wrightwood. It must be the price of gas. Less cars on the road.
I personally want to thank our guest Pastor who made the Camp feel Holy, and to Billy, our guest 14 year old guest speaker who enlightened me about this year's team, "Stream in the Desert".
Bob, thank you for the handouts. Everyone appreciate your
thoughtfulness (that's a mouthful and you deserve it.).
Next year, I will give "gas cards" ( only if you drive your Hummer or Expediton to the camp.)
Its been fun! Lets do it again.
Bye for now and be safe everyone.
Willie
