A MAGICAL MEETING

Another cold chilly morning arrives
bringing an end to my long sleeples nite
it began as just a normal Saturday
staying indoors without witnessing sunlight

Just the usual, playing games across the net
answering the occassional message on ICQ
declining auth requests from unknow strangers
but randomly answering a mssge from someone new

Then a message caught my attention
someone was reading at my poetry site
he commented on the work i had posted
I thanked him for his words, we continued to write

I always liked to talk to people
who had an interest in poetry
He told me about his life & the things going on
while reading my work & complimenting me

I read each word he wrote on my screen
I offered my support that's all i done
it was something that is so natural to me
but that is how our friendship begun

We emailed each other most days
and though i'd only known him a week
it was like i had known him for many years
he was sweet, caring, the kind of guy i was out to seek

A few days later we spoke on the phone
and the next day we met one on one
it was a beautiful nite, together it felt so right
he was all i wanted & more, something special had begun

Two nites on, it's like magic when together
i never thought i'd love so deep again
after my heart was shattered once before
but he's seemed to take away my pain

though the speed we're going is kinda scary
i've already fallen deeply in love
i've not been this happy for so long
I swear he's fallen out of the sky above

If only he knew that he's made my dream come true
of finding someone who loves me
just as much as I love them
& doesn't try to change me into what they want me to be

It's been so long since i've loved so deep
& felt so happy and complete
now my only hope is fullfil his every need
& make him as happy as he's made me

And though i'm scared of the speed we're going
I know that if i ask him to slow down - He will
I love him this early in our relationship
& until the day I die i'm sure i'll love him still

It's like magic that we've come together
and though it's really only early days
I'm positive we'll be together for many years to come
happily in love, loving each other in all the possible ways
