I'd like to tell you a story, even I can't believe it's true,
so many times this girls tried to hide, her confusion over you.
She never even knew you, or had the chance to share her life,
She tried so hard to find you, her pain cut like a knife.

She lay awake each and every night, thinking about her past,
a past she lived without you, that simply threatened not to last.
She's always thought about you, about the past she never had,
the past she should have shared with you, when she was happy, when she was sad.

She wanted to know every detail, every single word you've said,
but she can't believe in situations, that are all inside her head.
She remembers nothing about you, nothing you've ever done, she can't say she ever lost you, because she knows she never won.

Her life is still unknown to you, you don't know her deep inside,
and she's always wanted to know you, there was nothing left to hide.
She was a person you never found, a sister you could not see,
subconsciously you always knew her, that sister was always me.
