SpiritJewl: First, you're wrong about the whole situation. Please have some facts before you come into MY forum and lie about the whole situation. No, Kevin did not set up Chuck. No one should claim that. However, after Booms obviously irritated some exec, Kiley did nothing to stick up for the guy that GOT HIM THE JOB AT FSR.

Second: Chuck did nothing to get Kevin fired at all. I daresay the ratings plummeting did something, and that was related to Chuck (because people wanted to hear HIM) and The Army (under my command) getting the word out about boycotts of sponsors and of FSR in general.

Third: I sincerely doubt you know what Steve sent to affiliates via emails. I've been in the loop with him for quite some time and while he alluded to management being "rubbed the wrong way" by Chuck, Booms did nothing that truly sent anyone over the edge. This wasn't a firing in a true sense. It was a non-renewal of contract. Pretty big difference.

How? That leads me to Fourth: Kevin's dismissal WAS a firing. It had to do with a VERY explicit interview with a hooker the week before the Super Bowl. Sheer brilliance on Kiley's part. Why didn't he just bring in a drug dealer while he was at it? I know for certain I'd never bring someone on my radio program (yes I do have one) and speak about his/her CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES... especially in such a crude manner. That's not sports OR entertainment. It's condoning crime.

And finally, I have no problem with dissenting viewpoints so long as they don't constitute LIBEL, which is what your post is. This isn't a true forum of course. I delete whatever I want to, when I want to. Present your support, or lack thereof in a conscientious manner and I have no problems. Intentionally lie about anyone, including Kevin, and I'll ban your IP address.

My regards to Mr. Mason, who was also dismissed from FSR, and while I have a pretty good handle on why, he has my word I will not mention it.
