Subject: Expanding Mondio Ring in America

This is the key ingredient to expanding the sport in our country: Getting home grown Mondio judges. And certified decoys as well. If we do that, everything else will fall in place.

There are clubs that would hold trials right now if they didn't have to fly a judge in from Europe. Also, not having to fly decoys in from different parts of the US would help a lot.

It can cost club members hundreds of dollars or more to hold a Mondio trial the way things are now. We have Mondio enthusiasts routinely flying to Europe with their dogs to trial, that's how great the demand is.

Ann is in the judge's program now and is well on her way to completing the apprentice program. I think Augusta is getting ready to enter the apprentice program. These are vital steps. I don't want to pressure people or put anybody on the hot seat, but anyone that has titled a dog to Sch III (or Ring III) and is interested in Mondio should try to become a judge.

What can we do to move in this direction?
