Subject: Locating households geographically in the 1850 census of KY

Does anyone know if there is a way researchers can find out where,
in the 1850 census of Campbell County, KY (in District 2, which
*probably* consisted of everything NOT in the City of Newport) the
census taker finished?

Presumed relatives Jacob Berst, 33, born in Germany and a stonemason
and his daughter Catherine,3, were enumerated in Newport in August,
living in the same dwelling with a George Lonigar family when the
census taker made his rounds.

In September, another census taker was making the rounds in District
Two and enumerated one Jacob Barst with a Heinrich Barst and family
in household 1009 -- almost at the end of the Campbell COunty census.

This is significant to me because the Corpus Christi Catholic church
records (of Newport in Campbell County) contain the burial of a
female child of Jacob Börst in 1849. No mother's name is given.
Also in those records is the burial of Angelica/Angelige Börst
Leininger in 1854 and some other Leininger babies' baptisms. One of
the Godparents to the baby of Charles Leininger and Angelica Börst
Leininger is a Heinrich Börst. This baptism occurred in 1851.

Jacob Berst and a Charles Leininger bought property in Clermont
County, right across the river from Campbell Co KY almost, in 1853.

There has got to be a connection between these families!

Maybe Barst really is Börst.....In my research I have often
encountered misspelled names. Berst has appeared
Burst/Borst/Börst/Boerst/Börster!

If I could place the location of the Barst household (1009) at the
tail end of the 1850 census, I might have a clue as to where I might
find some of these burials.
