Subject: Cemetery Destruction

In the 1870s my gggrandfather buried his wife on his farm over the
years it grew to almost 500 {someone say 250-500} many.not.related.
When the farm was sold the cemetery an acess to it was NOT sold, but
the owner/owners kept chipping away at it until in 1970 he gave the
renter permission to raze it and get rid of the remaining stones
some quite large...found recently, broken up in a road ditch a
couple times in the past someone was thinking of taking him to
court...but dropped it since it wouldn't restore the cemetery and
might just stir up trouble. It's all plowed now, recently a distant
cousin said she is planning on having something done about it...any
ideas?
