I agree Sharon. A "natural" diet of raw meats, raw bones, and veggies, etc, is probably closer to what they would eat in the wilds, (heck, probably much better!!!) and many many dogs do very well on it, but let's face it, our dogs are domesticated and quite frankly, my time constraints don't allow me to spend hours planning and preparing food for my dogs every day (my husband should be glad I haven't found a good "human kibble" he he he!) and time I do have, I'd rather spend playing and exercising the dogs!

Some people feeding "natural" say it doesn't take all that much time to do, but I still would have to do lots of research to ensure everything's balanced!

But happy landings to those who do have time for a more "natural" diet and if it works on their dogs, that's great! Some dogs do have a problem with certain commercial foods, like allergies etc, forcing their owners into taking a more natural approach, as you'd said, if it's not broken, why fix it (or something to that effect!) :-)
