Just did the fork seals today, i found an easy way. Did you know it takes you longer to re fasten the front mudgaurd that it does to do the deals !

get the forks out, whip one in a vice, ( use soft jaws or rags) 27mm spanner whips the top nut off, not tight at all.
slide the damper rod out, remove the funny shaped washer, compress fork slowly once compressed remover tube spacer then the washer. If you have long fingers grab the long spring. slowly tip the oil out, moving forks up and down will get rid of most.

Now the trick i found you have to undo the allen bolt in the bottom of the forks right! well get some 20 mm studding about 600 mm long and four nuts. Lock 2 nuts at either end then inset down inner fork, this locates into the dampner valve thingy that the alen bolt holds. you may need some help here, but hold the studding with a spanner, then crack the allen bolt off. now gently prize the dust seal off, VERY GENTLY, under hear is a spring clip, take your time prize this out. then extend and retract the forks several times and the bush should pop out and the forks part. Now you should have to replace the seal at least, though i did both bushes as well. to knock one of the new bushes in use the old bush and tap against that. build up is simple. dont loose the small spring out of the inner leg and make sure the dampner rod lines up to slide in the hole. It is not circular so be gentle.

I only posted all that so that you knew i actually did it ! LOL

i could only get 10W 40 oil, but when i get some 10 20 i will take the forks out again and swap it, as the 10w 40 is a little hard, gives same feed back as bottoming out.
