Rags Of Hidden Colors.

Rags of gray around,
making the world smaller,
and sad,
since I feel embraced
by mourning moist.

It makes the trees seem
as if they weep,
with tears of gathered haze,
damp sticking together
like friends of grieve.

As rags drift over meadows
cows suddenly seem to
graze upon clouds and
sheep float legless
above the heath.

The playing kids seem
to kick eachother
instead of the ball,
hidden by the fog
from my distant eyes.

In rags of gray it was
that I met you,
since no existing haze
could blur my sight
nor hide you away.

It was as a picture
of an angel,
floating towards me,
like carried by the
winds of the Gods.

Though we met in gray,
it brought color
into our lives.
