Have you thought of this as a play? Even as a silent character going through the motions and emotions, while a narrator reads on???
That's how it came across to me. Don't know why, but it just did... and each part leads into the next... which is very cool.
I can't help you on this one... and honestly, I think this is something that has to come from you. It's inside somewhere and YOU have to be the one to figure out how to get it out. I don't think you need help writing it... but that's just my opinion.
