Useless.

Ice Cube is the next in a long line of gangsta rappers going soft. I guess it's a good thing that 2Pac is dead or he would be showing up in the sequel to Jumanji.

Jay Mohr is totally wasted. Why bother having him in it at all? Oh, I know, look Compton's own Ice Cube is best friends with a WHITE GUY! That makes you laugh doesn't it? But Mohr is the exception to the rule, as all other white people are mean and evil. There is the fat bully, the psycho redneck (played by perennial white trash favorite M.C. Gainey) and others I don't feel like thinking about again.

The young girl is absolutely awful. It should be against the law for an 11 year-old to have that much attitude. It was like the entire audience of the Apollo inside this little monster.

However, the worst part of this movie (there are so many) is the talking bobblehead doll of Negro League baseball legend Satchel Paige voiced by the untalented Tracy Morgan. I was scratching my head the whole time trying to figure out the purpose of this idiotic plot device. Notice how this thing doesn't appear in any of the trailers or commercial? That's good because people would be heading towards the exits with its poor CGI effects and basic stupidity.

NOT RECOMMENDED.
