There has been people who have gone up and politely ask to get snubbed and ignored. I guess that has to be frustrating to those that had have that happen. You heard their voices on these boards and at the meetings and it seems like the community ignores and snub them also. I could of think of no worse combination can you. A good example I was at the meeting a few years back addressing the same issues the people that lived across the common area went to have their voices heard and they were flat out told " It was your fault for buying a house across from the park. " I am not kidding , not lying , not exaggerating. I could only imagine why someone would say that . Here you have members of our community seeking help from the same community only to get disrespected and made to look crazy. Honestly I think at one point or another real frustration may set in on some and then this will escalate beyond just words. Or they will just say the heck with it and move. I really do not want to see either one of those happens. People should not have to resort to violence or get chased out of the neighborhood. Not for an amenity. If it was the pools or the tennis courts I think the feeling would be the same. Speaking of which is it fair that parents that go down to use other amenities like the play ground have to endure and feel unwelcome in an area that they also pay for. I personally have gone down there and on most occasions had no problems on a handful though I had to pack up the kids and scoot over to Charlie Daniels park. Those were enough time to leave a sour taste in my mouth. So I empathize with those that have been actively trying to find a solution. I think these are point of views that are being ignored . Obviously there is a problem because this is coming from multiple sources and most of them are very good members of this community. So what do we do ? It is a good question. Personally I love the game of BB . I am sad they came down but I can not tell the people that are having problems I want it up and you just got to live with that. And in around about way that is what is happening. I guess no matter how you looking at this there is going to be bad blood no matter what the out come is. I just hope people keep the good of their fellow community members in mind and not what they want when it is time to make the decision.
