1.) The couplet at the end of sonnet 130 alters the sonnet because it shows a different side of his feelings. This is shown because the first 12 lines of the poem are plainly stating that he thinks she is not very nice to look at and that there is nothing really amazing about her. But in the couplet at the end he almost relises the fact that even though she is not drop dead grogeous, he still loves her. He basically states that her appearence doesn't really matter in the end because he loves her.

2.)He mocks the normal sonnet form becuase at the end he changes his veiw of the subject. Throughout most of the sonnet he is in a way complaining about the fact that she is nothing special, but in the end, she's amazing to him.
