At the begning of the sonnet he makes the girl out to be ugly, but at the end he says that he loves her and it is a real true love.

He mocks them by using big words to make her seem ugly and not beautiful. Proving that you can make a sonnet about an ugly girl, and she does not have to be beautiful.
