1. At the start of the poem, Shakespear is almost being rude to the lady he talking about. However, in the very end of the poem(the couplet) Shakespear professes hs love for the lady. The poem takes an unexpected twist.
2. The lady that Shakespear wrote about is unusual. She isn't pretty and that is abnormal because that is what most poems are based upon. This is what makes Shakespear unique.
