1. The entire sonnet speaks of how unappealing and unsightly his mistress is. However the last two lines disagree with all of what has been said, stating that he loves her despite her distasteful qualities.

2. In the majority of all love sonnets, elegance is compared to the resemblance of natural beauties of nature. Conversely, this sonnet proposes how unalike she is to lovely things, and how much her aspects resemble that of repulsiveness.
