At first, he was pointing out like a bunch of stuff about this woman that wasn't all that attractive but then at the end, he reveals the actual passion that he has for her. SO deep down he had a real love for her but i guess mayve he was making fun of her because it didnt turn out all that good.
Sonnets are supposed to have ten syllables in every line, but in the lines that he says "mistress'" and "lips'" and "damask'd", they actually have eleven syllables in them.
