i hope i did this right...the iambic pentameter is sorta messed up...i hope this sonnet makes sense.....i call it:
Burn! I Hate You!
I hate the stare of your mesmerizing eyes,
I hate the touch of your comforting fingers,
I hate the way you truly love me—all lies,
But visions of you in my wounded mind lingers.
I truly despise your breathtaking image,
I hate it when you touch my lips with yours,
You tear me up inside—severe damage,
The blood of my stabbed heart slowly pours.
I am tightly holding a red rose,
Not noticing the thorns piercing my skin,
I let the blood ooze—down it goes,
Shaking, crying, I’m growing weak and thin.
This captivating rose resembles you,
And now I wish our love was never true.
