Subject: Simply... Beautiful!

I did not love my local Beautiful Music station (WGER, Stereo. Beautiful 102), but 30 years on, I've begun to miss it. I found some CD's which had the right stuff: Conniff, Montovani, Kostelanetz, etc.

There are also some dandy compilations from Reader's Digest, but there is just one I've found which really typifies the format I now adore. That is "Sweet with a Beat" Reader's Digest PLEASURE PROGRAMMED. RDA 114-A Copyright 1972.

Available only on LP record, it is a six disc set, which has become the perfect center of my collection. It is an uncanny representation of my old estranged 'muzak' station. How much fun is that? LOTS.

I'm now searching for some old airchecks of those sleepy station ID's, which is how I stumbled in here.

Cheers,

Rob
