Date Posted: 13:16:37 01/20/03 Mon The Centerforce II clutch I have works great & is actually made by LUK. LUK clutches can be found for cheap at several parts stores. I think Autozone carries them. I'm not sure that the discount one's are the same as the Centerforce though. I can email you a pic of the pressure plate tonight so you can compare if you find one. Email me at RTB@onewest.net if you want me to send you a pic. Rich Bowmer [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 15:09:10 01/20/03 Mon Rich, Thanks for the advice, but I've already got the new clutch sitting on the floor ready to go in. I ended up going with the Dynapak clutch from Autozone. The price was right ($100 for the kit including a new throwout bearing and an alignment tool.) and it looks to be a pretty well made unit. I've got some pictures of the disc and pressure plate I'll post here when I get a chance (They're posted now on Moparchat.com in the FWD forum). I'm going to break it in at 7 psi for a few hundred miles, and then I'll give it a stress test. I'll let you know how well it holds up. Thanks, Tony [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
