Everyone looked around. Indeed, Lulu wasn't there.
"Maybe... maybe she forgot something," Tidus said. "She'll probably be here in a minute."
But she didn't come. By midday, everyone was getting impatient.
"Where could she have gotten to?" Tidus wondered. He turned to Wakka. "She was coming with you, right?"
"She was with me. Then she wanted to stop in Luca. Get some supplies or somethin'." Wakka scratched his head. "I told her no, we needed to get here as soon as we could. I don't think she took too kindly to that."
"So where'd she go?" Rikku asked.
Wakka shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine."
Tidus groaned. "You don't have any idea at all where she is?"
Wakka shook his head sheepishly.
Auron began pacing around like a caged tiger. "Great," Auron muttered. "Just great. It could take days to find her!" He spun around, glaring at them all. "There's not time to waste, you know. There's not any time at all."
Rikku eyed him curiously. "Auron, what--?"
"Not now," Auron growled and continued his pacing. "We need to split up. We need to find Lulu. Let's go."
"But what did you--?" Rikku began.
"NOW!" Auron added menacingly.
